Dear Jaguar Families, 

I am honored to share that Callie Gilbert, SMS 8th Grader and Student Body President, was selected as the August 2026 Arizona Board of Education Student of the Month for her outstanding leadership qualities and character traits! Callie was recognized at the Arizona Board of Education meeting this past Monday, 8/24/26. Attached are pictures of the recognition, and here is a link to the video of the speech that Callie gave in Phoenix. Way to go, Callie! We are proud of you and the way you positively represent our school and Jaguar community!
